Singapore, and analsysis of Nitrofuran was strictly implemented in Aquatic Products. Japanese positive list regulated that Nitrofuran medicine mustn’t be detected out. The use of Nitrofurantoin was are classified as forbidden drugs

in Veterinary medicine And Other Compound Detailed Banned in Food Animal Lists which was pulished by Ministry of Chinese Agriculture in March 2002.

Principle: The Semicarbazide (SEM) ELISA test Kit is based on the competitive enzyme immunoassay for the

detection of Semicarbazide (SEM) in the tissue(chicken, fish, shrimp), milk, honey, whole egg and so on. The

coupling antigen is pre-coated on the micro-well stripes. The SEM in the testing sample competes with the coupling antigen pre-coated on the micro-well stripes for the antibody against SEM. After the addition of the enzyme

conjugate, the TMB substrate is added for coloration. The optical density (OD) value of the testing sample is

inversely proportional to the SEM in the sample. This value is compared to the standard curve and the content of the corresponding SEM is subsequently obtained.
